Floreat Belleboy - now under saddle

Floreat Belleboy (Floreat Dandelion x Ayston Belle) is now broken in and starting to compete in some local events under saddle. He is 4yr old this year, and the first Leo baby to be under saddle, so very exciting!

We recently received a lovely email from his new owners:
"...he has been an absolute dream to break in and has never put a foot wrong. Both myself and my daughter ride him and he has been a complete gentlemen to both of us....everybody falls in love with him and praises his temperment and disposition"

The photo is taken at his latest outing to Merrist Wood, where he was placed 2nd in large dressage class. And has also qualified for the Sunshine Tour Championships.

We wish Sarah & Imogen the best of luck with Billy.

Website Updates

Amilas Cassiopeia, 3yr old A filly
You may now notice some changes to the website ... yes Sarah has agreed to have Lexy (and her ponies) officially included as part of the stud and website! So both our contact details are now at the top of every page and there are additions to both A's and D's to include Lexy's ponies, including Amilas Cassiopeia (by Sunwillow Jubilee) pictured left who Lexy is showing again this year. Also Cushag Nansi (A yearling), Marchell One and Only (D 3yr old) and Floreat Thunderbird (D mare).

In addition we have been making general updates including adding the latest foals, updating the for sale list and generally having a good tidy up. We are having a bit of a cut down of several ponies, but good homes always a priority as well.

Windsor Show - Cassi 4th in Olympia Qualifier

Floreat Quintessa and Floreat Creme de Cassis competed under saddle at Windsor Show last week. Tessa put up a very creditable performance in the FR with a minor blip causing a change of canter lead, quickly and neatly corrected by Katie, who had great fun at the show and enjoyed her day hugely.

Cassi competed in her section of the Olympia qualifiers with her loanee Katherine on top, and we were all thrilled as she came fourth behind three top of the tree ponies in a very good class of a dozen or so, beating some really super ponies to do so.

Last Floreat Foal

Floreat Locomotion - palomino D colt by Floreat Dandelion, ex Marchell Perpetual Motion. She is very proud of him and is being a wonderful mother. Born on 12 May. A real stunning colt.
FOR SALE

Both mare and foal are for sale, and she can be re-covered by Floreat Dandelion for no extra charge. Through no fault of their own, just too many ponies and need to cut down. She has also been broken to ride. More details on For Sale page.

2011 Foals

So far we have the following foals born:

Welsh D's

Floreat Rolling Stone & Vinians Calon
Floreat Rolling Stone -buckskin D colt by Floreat Dandelion ex Vinians Calon, full brother and carbon copy of F. Heart of Stone who was awarded 1st Premium at the BEF Futurity last year, see below.  Another stunner like his brother. FOR SALE

Floreat Rainbow - chestnut D filly by Floreat Dandelion ex Broughton Saffron. A lovely big rangy filly who will make a super mare for me.

Welsh A's

Floreat Moonstone - grey A colt by Flydon Henadur ex Seaview Jewel, only A this year. This is a cracker, a show colt in the making.  FOR SALE

One more to go, D by Floreat Dandelion ex Marchell Perpetual Motion. Colts for sale at weaning, the filly is going nowhere!

Floreat Bourbon Creme does PC Games!

A new activity for a Floreat pony - Biscuit was part of her owner's PC Mounted Games team who recently won their Area competition, thus qualifying for the Zone finals in July, so good luck to them there. I do love seeing people having fun with ponies I've bred!

Floreat Quintessa BHF overall Champion!

Having been qualified for the 2010 final by Katherine last year, Floreat Quintessa went to the rescheduled Final early this year and ended up Supreme Champion, much to all our delight.

Katherine now has Floreat Creme de Cassis on loan to her as well, and with her team of riders Fynn and Katie is enjoying showing them in FR and Opens in various combinations of pony and rider, with the intention to add WH when they are ready.
